Ellen Hirvela Russell is an experienced Family Law Attorney, who provides Limited Scope Representation and Legal Consultation services ("Unbundled Services") for her clients, as well as Mediation and Collaborative Law services. Ellen's goal is to help families facing divorce. She will guide you through a straightforward "divorce without court" process that fits your family's needs, saving time and money. Ellen served as a Family Support Officer with the Ventura D.A. Child Support Division for twelve years, and during that time, she also attended law school, successfully passed the California Bar Exam, and became a lawyer. Ellen brings a wealth of practical as well as legal experience to the practice of law. She holds a Certification from the UCSB, Negotiation, Mediation and Conflict Management Program.
